Another Friday, another featured song from Rising Son. As we head into next week, we are thinking of our dear friend Hoyt Axton, whose birthday is this upcoming Tuesday. In honor of this, we have picked Arlo Guthrie - “Somebody Turned on the Light”.

Written by Hoyt, “Somebody Turned on the Light” was debuted by Arlo on the album “Hobo’s Lullaby” in April of 1972. Hoyt went on to release his own version of this piece in January of 1973.
